Now you can hide notifications on your iPhone’s lock screen with iOS 16. Know how to do it on iPhone 13, iPhone 12, and more.
Apple iOS 16 beta version can now be downloaded by anyone with a compatible iPhone. This includes iPhone 13, iPhone 12, iPhone 11 and other handsets. Apple has already teased how iOS 16 will bring major benefits for iPhone users due to the many improvements and new features. Undoubtedly, one of the biggest changes to the iPhones that iOS 16 brings is the lock screen feature. Customisation is something that we all have seen during Apple’s WWDC event. However, there are still a bunch of other features that iPhone users should know about to make their daily experience even better.
Currently, as things stand with iOS 15, no matter what, there will always be a bunch of notifications that ruin your experience. The endless buzz of the constant notifications from spam mails, residing apps, and a series of messages from group chats will leave anyone frustrated. However, iOS 16 has made it easy to hide these notifications. Whether you are using the latest iPhone 13, iPhone 12, iPhone SE, and other models, you can now choose how the notifications are displayed on the lock screen. Here’s how to do it on your iPhone with iOS 16.
How to hide notifications on the lock screen of iPhone 13, iPhone 12, and more
Before making changes to your iPhone’s lock screen settings, ensure that your iPhone is running on the latest iOS 16 beta version. If it’s iOS 16, then open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Now scroll down to the Notifications option and tap on it. Here, at the top of the page, you will find Display As. Click on it.
Select one of the mentioned options: Count, Stack, and List. Select count.
This will hide notifications on the iPhone Lock Screen permanently. Instead, it will show you a number at the bottom of the screen. You will just need to tap on this number to see an expanded list of notifications whenever you need them.
