Sharing a glimpse of the Tiranga in space, Space Kidz India tweeted, “Celebrating 75 Years of Independence by unfurling the Indian Flag @ 30 km in Near Space.” It further said that it is a mark of respect and tribute to all the freedom fighters and pride to people who are struggling hard to forge India into a place that they fought so hard for..

The aerospace organisation also shared an awesome video of unfurling the Tiranga in space on its YouTube channel. ” SKI team proudly celebrates the 75 Years of Independence by unfurling the Indian Flag @ 30KM Near Space. This is a mark of respect and tribute to all the freedom fighters and pride to people who are struggling hard to make India Proud everyday,” the organisation said.

It can be known that the event was part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav slogan and under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign launched by the government of India to mark the celebration of India’s independence.

India got Independence in 1947 and became a democratic country by ending nearly two hundred years of British rule. On August 15, 1947, the Indian national flag was raised for the first time at the Red Fort in Delhi and continuing the tradition the Prime Minister of India every year hoists the flag there.

For the uninitiated, Space Kidz India is an organization creating Young scientists for the Country and spreading awareness among children for a borderless world. It creates International experiential learning for students in the field of science, Technology, Art, and Culture.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is also celebrating the occasion by tweeting “ISRO Celebrates #AzadiKaAmritMahotsav Har Ghar Tiranga.” While NASA’s Indian-origin Astronaut Raja Chari too congratulated on the event.
